'Turn' in the Bible

“Call now, is there anyone who will answer you?And to which of the holy ones will you turn?

“Will You never turn Your gaze away from me,Nor let me alone until I swallow my spittle?

“God will not turn back His anger;Beneath Him crouch the helpers of Rahab.

‘Remember now, that You have made me as clay;And would You turn me into dust again?

“Turn Your gaze from him that he may rest,Until he fulfills his day like a hired man.

That you should turn your spirit against GodAnd allow such words to go out of your mouth?

“But He is unique and who can turn Him?And what His soul desires, that He does.

“They are insignificant on the surface of the water;Their portion is cursed on the earth.They do not turn toward the vineyards.

“I cry out to You for help, but You do not answer me;I stand up, and You turn Your attention against me.

That He may turn man aside from his conduct,And keep man from pride;

“Beware that wrath does not entice you to scoffing;And do not let the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.

“Be careful, do not turn to evil,For you have preferred this to affliction.

“He laughs at fear and is not dismayed;And he does not turn back from the sword.
