'Uplifted' in the Bible

For You are the glory of their strength [their proud adornment],And by Your favor our horn is exalted.

O Lord, give not the wrongdoer his desire; give him no help in his evil designs, or he may be uplifted in pride. (Selah.)

Let my prayer be like incense offered before you, and my uplifted hands like the evening sacrifice.
