'Vault' in the Bible

When all the lords of the tower of Shechem heard, they went to the vault of the temple of El-Berith.

So the whole army cut down each one branch for himself and followed Abimelech, and they put [them] against the vault and set the vault ablaze with fire on those [inside], so that all the men of the tower of Shechem died, about a thousand men and women.

Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh on the vault of the heavens.

It is He who sits above the circle of the earth,And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers,Who stretches out the heavens like a curtainAnd spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

He builds His upper chambersin the heavensand lays the foundation of His vaulton the earth.He summons the waters of the seaand pours them out on the face of the earth.Yahweh is His name.
