'Village' in the Bible
But some were saying, "The Messiah doesn't come from Galilee, does he? Doesn't the Scripture say that the Messiah is from David's family and from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?"
Now a man was sick, Lazarus, from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha.
Jesus had not yet come into the village but was still in the place where Martha had met Him.
For that reason Jesus no longer walked openly among the Jews, but left there and went to the district that borders on the uninhabited wilderness, to a town called Ephraim; and He stayed there with the disciples.
