'Widow' in the Bible

His priests [Hophni and Phinehas] fell by the sword,And His widows could not weep.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
