'Withstood' in the Bible

But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be condemned:

Now in the same manner in which Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, thus these also withstand the truth; men corrupted in mind, found worthless as regards the faith.

Against whom be thou also on thy guard, for he has greatly withstood our words.
