列王纪上 1

¹ 大 卫 王 年 纪 老 迈 ， 虽 用 被 遮 盖 ， 仍 不 觉 暖 。

¹ Now King David was old, advanced in age; and they covered him with clothes, but he could not keep warm.

³ 於 是 在 以 色 列 全 境 寻 找 美 貌 的 童 女 ， 寻 得 书 念 的 一 个 童 女 亚 比 煞 ， 就 带 到 王 那 里 。

³ So they searched for a beautiful girl throughout all the territory of Israel, and found Abishag the Shunammite, and brought her to the king.

⁵ 那 时 ， 哈 及 的 儿 子 亚 多 尼 雅 自 尊 ， 说 ： 我 必 作 王 ， 就 为 自 己 预 备 车 辆 、 马 兵 ， 又 派 五 十 人 在 他 前 头 奔 走 。

⁵ Now Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, “I will be king.” So he prepared for himself chariots and horsemen with fifty men to run before him.

⁷ 亚 多 尼 雅 与 洗 鲁 雅 的 儿 子 约 押 ， 和 祭 司 亚 比 亚 他 商 议 ； 二 人 就 顺 从 他 ， 帮 助 他 。

⁷ He had conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar the priest; and following Adonijah they helped him.

⁹ 一 日 ， 亚 多 尼 雅 在 隐 罗 结 旁 、 琐 希 列 磐 石 那 里 宰 了 牛 羊 、 肥 犊 ， 请 他 的 诸 弟 兄 ， 就 是 王 的 众 子 ， 并 所 有 作 王 臣 仆 的 犹 大 人 ；

⁹ Adonijah sacrificed sheep and oxen and fatlings by the stone of Zoheleth, which is beside En-rogel; and he invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants.

¹¹ 拿 单 对 所 罗 门 的 母 亲 拔 示 巴 说 ： 哈 及 的 儿 子 亚 多 尼 雅 作 王 了 ， 你 没 有 听 见 麽 ？ 我 们 的 主 大 卫 却 不 知 道 。

¹¹ Then Nathan spoke to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, “Have you not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith has become king, and David our lord does not know it?

¹³ 你 进 去 见 大 卫 王 ， 对 他 说 ： 我 主 我 王 啊 ， 你 不 曾 向 婢 女 起 誓 说 ： 你 儿 子 所 罗 门 必 接 续 我 作 王 ， 坐 在 我 的 位 上 麽 ？ 现 在 亚 多 尼 雅 怎 麽 作 了 王 呢 ？

¹³ Go at once to King David and say to him, ‘Have you not, my lord, O king, sworn to your maidservant, saying, “Surely Solomon your son shall be king after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then has Adonijah become king?’

¹⁵ 拔 示 巴 进 入 内 室 见 王 ， 王 甚 老 迈 ， 书 念 的 童 女 亚 比 煞 正 伺 候 王 。

¹⁵ So Bathsheba went in to the king in the bedroom. Now the king was very old, and Abishag the Shunammite was ministering to the king.

¹⁷ 他 说 ： 我 主 啊 ， 你 曾 向 婢 女 指 着 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 神 起 誓 说 ： 你 儿 子 所 罗 门 必 接 续 我 作 王 ， 坐 在 我 的 位 上 。

¹⁷ She said to him, “My lord, you swore to your maidservant by the Lord your God, saying, ‘Surely your son Solomon shall be king after me and he shall sit on my throne.’

¹⁹ 他 宰 了 许 多 牛 羊 、 肥 犊 ， 请 了 王 的 众 子 和 祭 司 亚 比 亚 他 ， 并 元 帅 约 押 ； 惟 独 王 的 仆 人 所 罗 门 ， 他 没 有 请 。

¹⁹ He has sacrificed oxen and fatlings and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the sons of the king and Abiathar the priest and Joab the commander of the army, but he has not invited Solomon your servant.

²¹ 若 不 然 ， 到 我 主 我 王 与 列 祖 同 睡 以 後 ， 我 和 我 儿 子 所 罗 门 必 算 为 罪 人 了 。

²¹ Otherwise it will come about, as soon as my lord the king sleeps with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be considered offenders.”

²³ 有 人 奏 告 王 说 ： 先 知 拿 单 来 了 。 拿 单 进 到 王 前 ， 脸 伏 於 地 。

²³ They told the king, saying, “Here is Nathan the prophet.” And when he came in before the king, he prostrated himself before the king with his face to the ground.

²⁵ 他 今 日 下 去 ， 宰 了 许 多 牛 羊 、 肥 犊 ， 请 了 王 的 众 子 和 军 长 ， 并 祭 司 亚 比 亚 他 ； 他 们 正 在 亚 多 尼 雅 面 前 吃 喝 ， 说 ： 愿 亚 多 尼 雅 王 万 岁 ！

²⁵ For he has gone down today and has sacrificed oxen and fatlings and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king’s sons and the commanders of the army and Abiathar the priest, and behold, they are eating and drinking before him; and they say, ‘Long live King Adonijah!’

²⁷ 这 事 果 然 出 乎 我 主 我 王 麽 ？ 王 却 没 有 告 诉 仆 人 们 ， 在 我 主 我 王 之 後 谁 坐 你 的 位 。

²⁷ Has this thing been done by my lord the king, and you have not shown to your servants who should sit on the throne of my lord the king after him?”

²⁹ 王 起 誓 说 ： 我 指 着 救 我 性 命 脱 离 一 切 苦 难 、 永 生 的 耶 和 华 起 誓 。

²⁹ The king vowed and said, “As the Lord lives, who has redeemed my life from all distress,

³¹ 於 是 ， 拔 示 巴 脸 伏 於 地 ， 向 王 下 拜 ， 说 ： 愿 我 主 大 卫 王 万 岁 ！

³¹ Then Bathsheba bowed with her face to the ground, and prostrated herself before the king and said, “May my lord King David live forever.”

³³ 王 对 他 们 说 ： 要 带 领 你 们 主 的 仆 人 ， 使 我 儿 子 所 罗 门 骑 我 的 骡 子 ， 送 他 下 到 基 训 ；

³³ The king said to them, “Take with you the servants of your lord, and have my son Solomon ride on my own mule, and bring him down to Gihon.

³⁵ 然 後 要 跟 随 他 上 来 ， 使 他 坐 在 我 的 位 上 ， 接 续 我 作 王 。 我 已 立 他 作 以 色 列 和 犹 大 的 君 。

³⁵ Then you shall come up after him, and he shall come and sit on my throne and be king in my place; for I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and Judah.”

³⁷ 耶 和 华 怎 样 与 我 主 我 王 同 在 ， 愿 他 照 样 与 所 罗 门 同 在 ， 使 他 的 国 位 比 我 主 大 卫 王 的 国 位 更 大 。

³⁷ As the Lord has been with my lord the king, so may He be with Solomon, and make his throne greater than the throne of my lord King David!”

³⁹ 祭 司 撒 督 就 从 帐 幕 中 取 了 盛 膏 油 的 角 来 ， 用 膏 膏 所 罗 门 。 人 就 吹 角 ， 众 民 都 说 ： 愿 所 罗 门 王 万 岁 ！

³⁹ Zadok the priest then took the horn of oil from the tent and anointed Solomon. Then they blew the trumpet, and all the people said, “Long live King Solomon!”

⁴¹ 亚 多 尼 雅 和 所 请 的 众 客 筵 宴 方 毕 ， 听 见 这 声 音 ； 约 押 听 见 角 声 就 说 ： 城 中 为 何 有 这 响 呢 ？

⁴¹ Now Adonijah and all the guests who were with him heard it as they finished eating. When Joab heard the sound of the trumpet, he said, “Why is the city making such an uproar?”

⁴³ 约 拿 单 对 亚 多 尼 雅 说 ： 我 们 的 主 大 卫 王 诚 然 立 所 罗 门 为 王 了 。

⁴³ But Jonathan replied to Adonijah, “No! Our lord King David has made Solomon king.

⁴⁵ 祭 司 撒 督 和 先 知 拿 单 在 基 训 已 经 膏 他 作 王 。 众 人 都 从 那 里 欢 呼 着 上 来 ， 声 音 使 城 震 动 ， 这 就 是 你 们 所 听 见 的 声 音 ；

⁴⁵ Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon, and they have come up from there rejoicing, so that the city is in an uproar. This is the noise which you have heard.

⁴⁷ 王 的 臣 仆 也 来 为 我 们 的 主 大 卫 王 祝 福 ， 说 ： 愿 王 的 神 使 所 罗 门 的 名 比 王 的 名 更 尊 荣 ； 使 他 的 国 位 比 王 的 国 位 更 大 。 王 就 在 床 上 屈 身 下 拜 。

⁴⁷ Moreover, the king’s servants came to bless our lord King David, saying, ‘May your God make the name of Solomon better than your name and his throne greater than your throne!’ And the king bowed himself on the bed.

⁴⁹ 亚 多 尼 雅 的 众 客 听 见 这 话 就 都 惊 惧 ， 起 来 四 散 。

⁴⁹ Then all the guests of Adonijah were terrified; and they arose and each went on his way.

⁵¹ 有 人 告 诉 所 罗 门 说 ： 亚 多 尼 雅 惧 怕 所 罗 门 王 ， 现 在 抓 住 祭 坛 的 角 ， 说 ： 愿 所 罗 门 王 今 日 向 我 起 誓 ， 必 不 用 刀 杀 仆 人 。

⁵¹ Now it was told Solomon, saying, “Behold, Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon, for behold, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon swear to me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’”

⁵³ 於 是 所 罗 门 王 差 遣 人 ， 使 亚 多 尼 雅 从 坛 上 下 来 ， 他 就 来 ， 向 所 罗 门 王 下 拜 ； 所 罗 门 对 他 说 ： 你 回 家 去 罢 ！

⁵³ So King Solomon sent, and they brought him down from the altar. And he came and prostrated himself before King Solomon, and Solomon said to him, “Go to your house.”
