¹ 那 时 ， 耶 罗 波 安 的 儿 子 亚 比 雅 病 了 。

¹ At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam became sick.

³ 现 在 你 要 带 十 个 饼 ， 与 几 个 薄 饼 ， 和 一 瓶 蜜 去 见 他 ， 他 必 告 诉 你 儿 子 将 要 怎 样 。

³ Take ten loaves with you, some cakes and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will happen to the boy.”

⁵ 耶 和 华 先 晓 谕 亚 希 雅 说 ： 耶 罗 波 安 的 妻 要 来 问 你 ， 因 他 儿 子 病 了 ， 你 当 此 此 如 此 告 诉 他 。 他 进 来 的 时 候 必 装 作 别 的 妇 人 。

⁵ Now the Lord had said to Ahijah, “Behold, the wife of Jeroboam is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. You shall say thus and thus to her, for it will be when she arrives that she will pretend to be another woman.”

⁷ 你 回 去 告 诉 耶 罗 波 安 说 ： 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 如 此 说 ： 我 从 民 中 将 你 高 举 ， 立 你 作 我 民 以 色 列 的 君 ，

⁷ Go, say to Jeroboam, ‘Thus says the Lord God of Israel, “Because I exalted you from among the people and made you leader over My people Israel,

⁹ 你 竟 行 恶 ， 比 那 在 你 以 先 的 更 甚 ， 为 自 己 立 了 别 神 ， 铸 了 偶 像 ， 惹 我 发 怒 ， 将 我 丢 在 背 後 。

⁹ you also have done more evil than all who were before you, and have gone and made for yourself other gods and molten images to provoke Me to anger, and have cast Me behind your back—

¹¹ 凡 属 耶 罗 波 安 的 人 ， 死 在 城 中 的 必 被 狗 吃 ， 死 在 田 野 的 必 被 空 中 的 鸟 吃 。 这 是 耶 和 华 说 的 。

¹¹ Anyone belonging to Jeroboam who dies in the city the dogs will eat. And he who dies in the field the birds of the heavens will eat; for the Lord has spoken it.”’

¹³ 以 色 列 众 人 必 为 他 哀 哭 ， 将 他 葬 埋 。 凡 属 耶 罗 波 安 的 人 ， 惟 有 他 得 入 坟 墓 ； 因 为 在 耶 罗 波 安 的 家 中 ， 只 有 他 向 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 显 出 善 行 。

¹³ All Israel shall mourn for him and bury him, for he alone of Jeroboam’s family will come to the grave, because in him something good was found toward the Lord God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.

¹⁵ 耶 和 华 必 击 打 以 色 列 人 ， 使 他 们 摇 动 ， 像 水 中 的 芦 苇 一 般 ； 又 将 他 们 从 耶 和 华 赐 给 他 们 列 祖 的 美 地 上 拔 出 来 ， 分 散 在 大 河 那 边 ； 因 为 他 们 做 木 偶 ， 惹 耶 和 华 发 怒 。

¹⁵ “For the Lord will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and He will uproot Israel from this good land which He gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the Euphrates River, because they have made their Asherim, provoking the Lord to anger.

¹⁷ 耶 罗 波 安 的 妻 起 身 回 去 ， 到 了 得 撒 ， 刚 到 门 槛 ， 儿 子 就 死 了 。

¹⁷ Then Jeroboam’s wife arose and departed and came to Tirzah. As she was entering the threshold of the house, the child died.

¹⁹ 耶 罗 波 安 其 馀 的 事 ， 他 怎 样 争 战 ， 怎 样 作 王 ， 都 写 在 以 色 列 诸 王 记 上 。

¹⁹ Now the rest of the acts of Jeroboam, how he made war and how he reigned, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

²¹ 所 罗 门 的 儿 子 罗 波 安 作 犹 大 王 。 他 登 基 的 时 候 年 四 十 一 岁 ， 在 耶 路 撒 冷 ， 就 是 耶 和 华 从 以 色 列 众 支 派 中 所 选 择 立 他 名 的 城 ， 作 王 十 七 年 。 罗 波 安 的 母 亲 名 叫 拿 玛 ， 是 亚 扪 人 。

²¹ Now Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem, the city which the Lord had chosen from all the tribes of Israel to put His name there. And his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess.

²³ 因 为 他 们 在 各 高 冈 上 ， 各 青 翠 树 下 筑 坛 ， 立 柱 像 和 木 偶 。

²³ For they also built for themselves high places and sacred pillars and Asherim on every high hill and beneath every luxuriant tree.

²⁵ 罗 波 安 王 第 五 年 ， 埃 及 王 示 撒 上 来 攻 取 耶 路 撒 冷 ，

²⁵ Now it happened in the fifth year of King Rehoboam, that Shishak the king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem.

²⁷ 罗 波 安 王 制 造 铜 盾 牌 代 替 那 金 盾 牌 ， 交 给 守 王 宫 门 的 护 卫 长 看 守 。

²⁷ So King Rehoboam made shields of bronze in their place, and committed them to the care of the commanders of the guard who guarded the doorway of the king’s house.

²⁹ 罗 波 安 其 馀 的 事 ， 凡 他 所 行 的 ， 都 写 在 犹 大 列 王 记 上 。

²⁹ Now the rest of the acts of Rehoboam and all that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?

³¹ 罗 波 安 与 他 列 祖 同 睡 ， 葬 在 大 卫 城 他 列 祖 的 坟 地 里 。 他 母 亲 名 叫 拿 玛 ， 是 亚 扪 人 。 他 儿 子 亚 比 央 ( 又 名 亚 比 雅 ) 接 续 他 作 王 。

³¹ And Rehoboam slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of David; and his mother’s name was Naamah the Ammonitess. And Abijam his son became king in his place.
