1 大 卫 招 聚 以 色 列 各 支 派 的 首 领 和 轮 班 服 事 王 的 军 长 ， 与 千 夫 长 、 百 夫 长 ， 掌 管 王 和 王 子 产 业 牲 畜 的 ， 并 太 监 ， 以 及 大 能 的 勇 士 ， 都 到 耶 路 撒 冷 来 。
1 Now David assembled at Jerusalem all the officials of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the commanders of the divisions that served the king, and the commanders of thousands, and the commanders of hundreds, and the overseers of all the property and livestock belonging to the king and his sons, with the officials and the mighty men, even all the valiant men.
2 大 卫 王 就 站 起 来 ， 说 ： 我 的 弟 兄 ， 我 的 百 姓 啊 ， 你 们 当 听 我 言 ， 我 心 里 本 想 建 造 殿 宇 ， 安 放 耶 和 华 的 约 柜 ， 作 为 我 神 的 脚 凳 ； 我 已 经 预 备 建 造 的 材 料 。
2 Then King David rose to his feet and said, “Listen to me, my brethren and my people; I had intended to build a permanent home for the ark of the covenant of the Lord and for the footstool of our God. So I had made preparations to build it.
4 然 而 ， 耶 和 华 ─ 以 色 列 的 神 在 我 父 的 全 家 拣 选 我 作 以 色 列 的 王 ， 直 到 永 远 。 因 他 拣 选 犹 大 为 首 领 ； 在 犹 大 支 派 中 拣 选 我 父 家 ， 在 我 父 的 众 子 里 喜 悦 我 ， 立 我 作 以 色 列 众 人 的 王 。
4 Yet, the Lord, the God of Israel, chose me from all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever. For He has chosen Judah to be a leader; and in the house of Judah, my father’s house, and among the sons of my father He took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel.
8 现 今 在 耶 和 华 的 会 中 ， 以 色 列 众 人 眼 前 所 说 的 ， 我 们 的 神 也 听 见 了 。 你 们 应 当 寻 求 耶 和 华 ─ 你 们 神 的 一 切 诫 命 ， 谨 守 遵 行 ， 如 此 你 们 可 以 承 受 这 美 地 ， 遗 留 给 你 们 的 子 孙 ， 永 远 为 业 。
8 So now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek after all the commandments of the Lord your God so that you may possess the good land and bequeath it to your sons after you forever.
9 我 儿 所 罗 门 哪 ， 你 当 认 识 耶 和 华 ─ 你 父 的 神 ， 诚 心 乐 意 地 事 奉 他 ； 因 为 他 鉴 察 众 人 的 心 ， 知 道 一 切 心 思 意 念 。 你 若 寻 求 他 ， 他 必 使 你 寻 见 ； 你 若 离 弃 他 ， 他 必 永 远 丢 弃 你 。
9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.
12 又 将 被 灵 感 动 所 得 的 样 式 ， 就 是 耶 和 华 神 殿 的 院 子 、 周 围 的 房 屋 、 殿 的 府 库 ， 和 圣 物 府 库 的 一 切 样 式 都 指 示 他 ；
12 and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courts of the house of the Lord, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things;
15 金 灯 ? 和 金 灯 的 分 两 ， 银 灯 ? 和 银 灯 的 分 两 ， 轻 重 各 都 合 宜 ；
15 and the weight of gold for the golden lampstands and their golden lamps, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps; and the weight of silver for the silver lampstands, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps according to the use of each lampstand;
20 大 卫 又 对 他 儿 子 所 罗 门 说 ： 你 当 刚 强 壮 胆 去 行 ！ 不 要 惧 怕 ， 也 不 要 惊 惶 。 因 为 耶 和 华 神 就 是 我 的 神 ， 与 你 同 在 ； 他 必 不 撇 下 你 ， 也 不 丢 弃 你 ， 直 到 耶 和 华 殿 的 工 作 都 完 毕 了 。
20 Then David said to his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.
21 有 祭 司 和 利 未 人 的 各 班 ， 为 要 办 理 神 殿 各 样 的 事 ， 又 有 灵 巧 的 人 在 各 样 的 工 作 上 乐 意 帮 助 你 ； 并 有 众 首 领 和 众 民 一 心 听 从 你 的 命 令 。
21 Now behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of any skill will be with you in all the work for all kinds of service. The officials also and all the people will be entirely at your command.”
