申命记 2

¹ 此 後 ， 我 们 转 回 ， 从 红 海 的 路 往 旷 野 去 ， 是 照 耶 和 华 所 吩 咐 我 的 。 我 们 在 西 珥 山 绕 行 了 许 多 日 子 。

¹ “Then we turned and set out for the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as the Lord spoke to me, and circled Mount Seir for many days.

³ 你 们 绕 行 这 山 的 日 子 够 了 ， 要 转 向 北 去 。

³ ‘You have circled this mountain long enough. Now turn north,

⁵ 不 可 与 他 们 争 战 ； 他 们 的 地 ， 连 脚 掌 可 踏 之 处 ， 我 都 不 给 你 们 ， 因 我 已 将 西 珥 山 赐 给 以 扫 为 业 。

⁵ do not provoke them, for I will not give you any of their land, even as little as a footstep because I have given Mount Seir to Esau as a possession.

⁷ 因 为 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 神 在 你 手 里 所 办 的 一 切 事 上 已 赐 福 与 你 。 你 走 这 大 旷 野 ， 他 都 知 道 了 。 这 四 十 年 ， 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 神 常 与 你 同 在 ， 故 此 你 一 无 所 缺 。

⁷ For the Lord your God has blessed you in all that you have done; He has known your wanderings through this great wilderness. These forty years the Lord your God has been with you; you have not lacked a thing.”’

⁹ 耶 和 华 吩 咐 我 说 ： 不 可 扰 害 摩 押 人 ， 也 不 可 与 他 们 争 战 。 他 们 的 地 ， 我 不 赐 给 你 为 业 ， 因 我 已 将 亚 珥 赐 给 罗 得 的 子 孙 为 业 。

⁹ Then the Lord said to me, ‘Do not harass Moab, nor provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land as a possession, because I have given Ar to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

¹¹ 这 以 米 人 像 亚 衲 人 ； 也 算 为 利 乏 音 人 ； 摩 押 人 称 他 们 为 以 米 人 。

¹¹ Like the Anakim, they are also regarded as Rephaim, but the Moabites call them Emim.

¹³ 现 在 ， 起 来 过 撒 烈 溪 ！ 於 是 我 们 过 了 撒 烈 溪 。

¹³ ‘Now arise and cross over the brook Zered yourselves.’ So we crossed over the brook Zered.

¹⁵ 耶 和 华 的 手 也 攻 击 他 们 ， 将 他 们 从 营 中 除 灭 ， 直 到 灭 尽 。

¹⁵ Moreover the hand of the Lord was against them, to destroy them from within the camp until they all perished.

¹⁷ 耶 和 华 吩 咐 我 说 ：

¹⁷ that the Lord spoke to me, saying,

¹⁹ 走 近 亚 扪 人 之 地 ， 不 可 扰 害 他 们 ， 也 不 可 与 他 们 争 战 。 亚 扪 人 的 地 ， 我 不 赐 给 你 们 为 业 ， 因 我 已 将 那 地 赐 给 罗 得 的 子 孙 为 业 。

¹⁹ When you come opposite the sons of Ammon, do not harass them nor provoke them, for I will not give you any of the land of the sons of Ammon as a possession, because I have given it to the sons of Lot as a possession.’

²¹ 那 民 众 多 ， 身 体 高 大 ， 像 亚 衲 人 一 样 ， 但 耶 和 华 从 亚 扪 人 面 前 除 灭 他 们 ， 亚 扪 人 就 得 了 他 们 的 地 ， 接 着 居 住 。

²¹ a people as great, numerous, and tall as the Anakim, but the Lord destroyed them before them. And they dispossessed them and settled in their place,

²³ 从 迦 斐 托 出 来 的 迦 斐 托 人 将 先 前 住 在 乡 村 直 到 迦 萨 的 亚 卫 人 除 灭 ， 接 着 居 住 。 ）

²³ And the Avvim, who lived in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorim who came from Caphtor, destroyed them and lived in their place.)

²⁵ 从 今 日 起 ， 我 要 使 天 下 万 民 听 见 你 的 名 声 都 惊 恐 惧 怕 ， 且 因 你 发 颤 伤 恸 。

²⁵ This day I will begin to put the dread and fear of you upon the peoples everywhere under the heavens, who, when they hear the report of you, will tremble and be in anguish because of you.’

²⁷ 求 你 容 我 从 你 的 地 经 过 ， 只 走 大 道 ， 不 偏 左 右 。

²⁷ ‘Let me pass through your land, I will travel only on the highway; I will not turn aside to the right or to the left.

²⁹ 就 如 住 西 珥 的 以 扫 子 孙 和 住 亚 珥 的 摩 押 人 待 我 一 样 ， 等 我 过 了 约 但 河 ， 好 进 入 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 神 所 赐 给 我 们 的 地 。

²⁹ just as the sons of Esau who live in Seir and the Moabites who live in Ar did for me, until I cross over the Jordan into the land which the Lord our God is giving to us.’

³¹ 耶 和 华 对 我 说 ： 从 此 起 首 ， 我 要 将 西 宏 和 他 的 地 交 给 你 ； 你 要 得 他 的 地 为 业 。

³¹ The Lord said to me, ‘See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his land over to you. Begin to occupy, that you may possess his land.’

³³ 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 的 神 将 他 交 给 我 们 ， 我 们 就 把 他 和 他 的 儿 子 ， 并 他 的 众 民 ， 都 击 杀 了 。

³³ The Lord our God delivered him over to us, and we defeated him with his sons and all his people.

³⁵ 惟 有 牲 畜 和 所 夺 的 各 城 ， 并 其 中 的 财 物 ， 都 取 为 自 己 的 掠 物 。

³⁵ We took only the animals as our booty and the spoil of the cities which we had captured.

³⁷ 惟 有 亚 扪 人 之 地 ， 凡 靠 近 雅 博 河 的 地 ， 并 山 地 的 城 邑 ， 与 耶 和 华 ─ 我 们 神 所 禁 止 我 们 去 的 地 方 ， 都 没 有 挨 近 。

³⁷ Only you did not go near to the land of the sons of Ammon, all along the river Jabbok and the cities of the hill country, and wherever the Lord our God had commanded us.
