1 And he took me out into the inner square in the direction of the north: and he took me into the rooms which were opposite the separate place and opposite the building to the north.
1 Then he (A)brought me out into the (B)outer court, the way (C)toward the north; and he brought me to the (D)chamber which was opposite the (E)separate area and opposite the (F)building toward the north.
1 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.
1 Then the man led me out by way of the north gate into the outer court.(A) He brought me to the group of chambers opposite the temple yard and opposite the building(B) to the north.
1 Then he brought me to the outer, north-facing courtyard into the chamber that stood opposite the structure that was facing north.
2 On the north side it was a hundred cubits long and fifty cubits wide,
2 Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.
2 Along the length of the chambers, which was 175 feet,(a)(C) there was an entrance on the north; the width was 87½ feet.(b)
2 It stood 100 cubits long and 50 cubits wide, with a door in the middle.
3 Opposite the space of twenty cubits which was part of the inner square, and opposite the stone floor of the outer square. There were covered ways facing one another on the third floor.
3 Opposite the (H)twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and opposite the (I)pavement which belonged to the outer court, was (a)(J)gallery corresponding to (b)gallery in three stories.
3 Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.
3 Opposite the 35 foot space(c) belonging to the inner court and opposite the paved surface(D) belonging to the outer court, the structure rose gallery by gallery(E) in three tiers.
3 Opposite the 20 cubits wide inner court, and opposite the paved area that comprised the outer court, there were three stories of galleries that faced each other.
4 And in front of the rooms was a walk, ten cubits wide and a hundred cubits long; and their doors were facing north.
4 Before the (K)chambers was an inner walk ten cubits wide, a way of one hundred cubits; and their openings were on the north.
4 And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
4 In front of the chambers was a walkway toward the inside,(F) 17½ feet(d) wide and 175 feet(e) long,(f) and their entrances were on the north.
4 In front of the chambers there was an inner walkway ten cubits wide and 100 cubits wide, the openings to which were on the north.
5 And the higher rooms were shorter: for the covered ways took up more space from these than from the lower and middle rooms.
5 Now the upper chambers were (c)smaller because the (d)(L)galleries took more space away from them than from the lower and middle ones in the building.
5 Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
5 The upper chambers were narrower because the galleries took away more space from them than from the lower and middle stories of the building.

6 For they were on three floors, and they had no pillars like the pillars of the outer square; so the highest was narrower than the lowest and middle floors from the earth level.

6 The three part structure had no columns, unlike the courts, which is why the upper chambers were offset from the ground upward, more so than the lower and middle chambers.
7 And the wall which went outside by the side of the rooms, in the direction of the outer square in front of the rooms, was fifty cubits long.
7 As for the (N)outer wall by the side of the chambers, toward the outer court facing the chambers, its length was fifty cubits.
7 And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
7 A wall on the outside ran in front of the chambers, parallel to them, toward the outer court; it was 87½ feet(g) long.
7 The outer wall by the side of the chambers toward the outer court and facing the chambers was 50 cubits long.
8 For the rooms in the outer square were fifty cubits long: and in front of the Temple was a space of a hundred cubits.
8 For the length of the chambers which were in the outer court was fifty cubits; and behold, the length of those facing the temple was a (O)hundred cubits.
8 For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.
8 For the chambers on the outer court were 87½ feet long, while those facing the great hall were 175 feet(h) long.(H)
8 While the chambers in the outer court were 50 cubits in length, the chambers facing the Temple were 100 cubits long.
9 And under these rooms was the way in from the east side, as one goes into them from the outer square at the head of the outer wall.
9 Below these chambers was the (P)entrance on the east side, as one enters them from the outer court.
9 And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
9 At the base of these chambers there was an entryway on the east side as one enters them from the outer court.(I)
9 Below these chambers, as one might enter from the outer court, was the east side entrance.
10 (And he took me) to the south, and in front of the separate place and in front of the building there were rooms.
10 In the (f)thickness of the (Q)wall of the court toward the east, facing the (R)separate area and facing the building, there were (S)chambers.
10 The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
10 In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the south,(i) there were chambers facing the temple yard(J) and the western building,
10 There were chambers built into the thick part of the wall of the court facing the east; that is, facing the separate area toward the front of the building,
11 And there was a walk in front of them like that by the rooms on the north; they were equally long and wide; and the ways out of them were the same in design and had the same sort of doors.
11 The (T)way in front of them was like the appearance of the chambers which were on the north, according to their length so was their width, and all their exits were both according to their arrangements and openings.
11 And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
11 with a passageway in front of them, just like the chambers that faced north.(K) Their length and width, as well as all their exits, measurements, and entrances, were identical.
11 with a passageway in front of them, similar in appearance to the chambers that were on the north, proportional to their length and width, with all of their exits according to their arrangements and doorways.
12 And under the rooms on the south was a door at the head of the outer wall in the direction of the east as one goes in.
12 Corresponding to the openings of the chambers which were toward the south was an opening at the head of the way, the way in front of the (U)wall toward the east, as one enters them.
12 And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
12 The entrance at the beginning of the passageway, the way in front of the corresponding(j) wall as one enters on the east side, was similar to the entrances of the chambers that were on the south side.
12 Corresponding to the chamber doorways facing the south was an opening at the beginning of the passage; that is, the passage in front of the corresponding part of the wall facing east as one might enter.
13 And he said to me, The north rooms and the south rooms in front of the separate place are the holy rooms, where the priests who come near the Lord take the most holy things for their food: there the most holy things are placed, with the meal offering and the sin-offering and the offering for error; for the place is holy.
13 Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers, which are opposite the (V)separate area, they are the (W)holy chambers where the priests who are (X)near to the Lord shall eat the (Y)most holy things. There they shall lay the most holy things, the grain offering, the sin offering and the guilt offering; for the place is holy.
13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
13 Then the man said to me, “The northern and southern chambers that face the temple yard are the holy chambers where the priests who approach the Lord will eat(L) the most holy offerings.(M) There they will deposit the most holy offerings—the grain offerings, sin offerings, and restitution offerings—for the place is holy.(N)
13 Then he told me, "The north and south chamber, which are opposite the courtyard, are consecrated areas where the priests who approach the LORD will eat consecrated offerings and lay the consecrated grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings, because the area is holy.
14 When the priests go in, they may not go out of the holy place into the outer square, and there they are to put the robes in which they do the work of the Lord's house, for they are holy: and they have to put on other clothing before they come near that which has to do with the people.
14 When the priests enter, then they shall not go out into the outer court from the sanctuary (g)without (Z)laying there their (AA)garments in which they minister, for they are holy. They shall put on other garments; then they shall approach that which is for the people.”
14 When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.
14 Once the priests have entered, they must not go out from the holy area to the outer court until they have removed the clothes they minister in, for these are holy.(O) They are to put on other clothes before they approach the public area.”(P)
14 When the priest enters, they will not enter the outer court from the sanctuary without having removed their garments worn during their time of ministry, because they are holy. They will put on different clothes, and then they will approach the area reserved for the people."
15 And when he had come to the end of measuring the inner house, he took me out to the doorway looking to the east, and took its measure all round.
15 Now when he had finished measuring the inner house, he brought me out by the way of the (AB)gate which faced toward the east and measured it all around.
15 Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.
15 When he finished measuring inside the temple complex, he led me out by way of the gate that faced east and measured all around the complex.(Q)
15 After he had finished measuring the inner temple, he brought me out through the east-facing gate and measured it all around.
16 He went round and took the measure of it on the east side with the measuring rod, five hundred, measured with the rod all round.
16 He measured on the east side with the measuring reed five hundred reeds by the (AC)measuring reed.

16 He measured the east side at 500 reeds, according to the length of the measuring stick,

20 He took its measure on the four sides: and it had a wall all round, five hundred long and five hundred wide, separating what was holy from what was common.
20 He measured it (h)on the four sides; it had a (AD)wall all around, the (AE)length five hundred and the (AF)width five hundred, to (AG)divide between the holy and the profane.
20 He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
20 He measured the temple complex on all four sides. It had a wall all around it,(R) 875 feet long and 875 feet(S) wide, to separate the holy from the common.(T)
20 He measured a wall that encompassed all four sides, 500 hundred long and 500 wide, dividing between the sacred and common areas.
