And Jehovah appeared to Abram and said, I will give this land to your seed. And he built an altar there to Jehovah who appeared to him.

For all the land which you see I will give to you, and to your seed forever.

And I will give the land to you in which you are a stranger, and to your seed after you, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession. And I will be their God.

And I will make your seed to multiply as the stars of the heavens, and will give to your seed all these lands. And in your Seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed,

And may He give you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your seed with you, so that you may inherit the land in which you are a stranger, which God gave to Abraham.

And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to you, and to your seed after you I will give the land.

And Joseph said to his brothers, I die. And God will surely visit you, and bring you out of this land into the land which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

Euphrates

And the name of the third river is Tigris; it is that which goes toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.

David also struck Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates.

And he lived as far to the east as the entrance of the wilderness from the river Euphrates, because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
