God's Relationship With His People

³ The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, I have loved thee with an eternal love: therefore, I have put up with thee with mercy. ⁴ “Again I will build you and you will be rebuilt,
O virgin of Israel!
Again you will take up your tambourines,
And go forth to the dances of the merrymakers.
⁵ Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant and shall eat them as common things.

Jeremiah 31:13
