The Prologue To John's Gospel

¹³ who were begotten, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. ¹⁴ And the "WORD became flesh, and tabernacled among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and of truth. ¹⁵ John testified of him, and cried, saying: This is he of whom I said: He that comes after me, is now before me, for he existed before me.
