²⁹ Now I have told you this, even before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe [in me]. ³⁰ I will not speak with you very much anymore because the ruler of the world [i.e., Satan] is coming, and he has no control over me. ³¹ But, in order for the world to know that I love the Father, I am [always] doing what the Father commands me to.
