The Beatitudes

¹⁰ Blessed are they, who are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for the kingdom of the heavens is theirs. ¹¹  Blessed are ye when they may despise you, and shall persecute you, and may say all evil against you, falsifying, for my sake. ¹² Rejoice, and he exceedingly glad: because your reward is great in the heavens: for in this manner they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
