וְהַפַּחוֹת֩
wə·hap·pa·ḥō·wṯ
But the governors
הָרִאשֹׁנִ֨ים
hā·ri·šō·nîm
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
לְפָנַ֜י
lə·p̄ā·nay
הִכְבִּ֣ידוּ
hiḵ·bî·ḏū
עַל־
‘al-
on
､ הָעָ֗ם
hā·‘ām,
the people ､
וַיִּקְח֨וּ
way·yiq·ḥū
and took
מֵהֶ֜ם
mê·hem
בְּלֶ֤חֶם
bə·le·ḥem
､ וָיַ֙יִן֙
wā·ya·yin
and wine ､
אַחַר֙
’a·ḥar
– כֶּֽסֶף־
ke·sep̄-
of silver –
שְׁקָלִ֣ים
šə·qā·lîm
אַרְבָּעִ֔ים
’ar·bā·‘îm,
､ גַּ֥ם
gam
Yes even ､
נַעֲרֵיהֶ֖ם
na·‘ă·rê·hem
שָׁלְט֣וּ
šā·lə·ṭū
עַל־
‘al-
. הָעָ֑ם
hā·‘ām;
the people .
､ וַאֲנִי֙
wa·’ă·nî
But I ､
לֹא־
lō-
not
עָשִׂ֣יתִי
‘ā·śî·ṯî
did do
כֵ֔ן
ḵên,
so
מִפְּנֵ֖י
mip·pə·nê
יִרְאַ֥ת
yir·’aṯ
of the fear
. אֱלֹהִֽים׃
’ĕ·lō·hîm.
of God .
