'Before God' in the Bible

At this time Moses was born, and was beautiful before God. And he was brought up for three months in his father's house;

You have no part or share in this matter, for your heart is not right before God.

And he stared at him in terror, and said, "What is it, Lord?" And he said to him, "Your prayers and alms have ascended as a memorial before God.

and he said, 'Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God.

And Paul, looking intently at the council, said, "Brethren, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience up to this day."

And so I do my best always to have a clear conscience before God and men.
