'Children of Israel' in the Bible

Wherefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew that shrank under the thigh, unto this day: because that he smote Jacob under the thigh in the sinew that shrank.

These are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king among the children of Israel.

And the children of Israel did even so. And Joseph gave them chariots at the commandment of Pharaoh, and gave them victuals also to spend by the way.
