'Give Thanks' in the Bible

As for me, I will give thanks unto the LORD according to his righteousness; and I will praise the name of the LORD most high.

{To the Chanter upon Muthlabben, a Psalm of David} I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will speak of all thy marvelous works.

For this cause will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the gentiles, and sing praises unto thy name. {TYNDALE: And therefore I will praise thee O LORD among the heathen, and will sing unto thy name.}

Sing praises unto the LORD, O ye saints of his; and give thanks unto him for a remembrance of his holiness.
