'Son of David' in the Bible

Amnon had a friend named Jonadab, a son of David’s brother Shimeah. Jonadab was a very shrewd man,

So Jesus asked this question as He taught in the temple complex, “How can the scribes say that the Messiah is the Son of David?

Then He said to them, “How can they say that the Messiah is the Son of David?
