Romans 16:17-20 - Concluding Exhortations

Romans 16:17-20

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them who cause divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them. 18 For such serve not the Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by good words and fair speeches, deceive the hearts of the simple.

19 For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I rejoice therefore on your behalf; but I would have you wise with regard to that which is good, and simple with regard to that which is evil. 20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

1 Corinthians 16:13-18

13 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, acquit yourselves like men; be strong. 14 Let all your affairs be done in love.

15 And I beseech you, brethren, as ye know the houshold of Stephanas, that it is the first-fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to serve the saints, 16 That ye also submit to such, and to every one that worketh with us and laboureth. 17 I rejoice at the coming of Stephanas, and Fortunatus, and Achaicus: for they have supplied what was wanting on your part. 18 For they have refreshed my spirit and yours; such therefore acknowledge.
