Matthew 27:1-2 - Jesus Taken To Pilate

Matthew 27:1-2

1 And as soon as it was morning all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus, how to get Him executed: 2 so they bound Him and led Him away, and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate the Roman governor.

Mark 15:1-5

1 And as soon as ever it was light the chief priests holding a consultation with the elders and scribes, they and the whole sanhedrim, bound Jesus, and carried Him away, and delivered Him to Pilate.

2 And Pilate asked Him, Art thou the king of the Jews? and He answered It is as thou sayst.

3 And the chief priests accused Him of many things: but he answered nothing. 4 So Pilate asked Him again, saying, Dost thou answer nothing? See how many things they witness against thee: 5 but Jesus still answered nothing, so that Pilate was amazed.
