Revelation 21:1-8 - The New Heaven, New Earth, And New Jerusalem
1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. There was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 Then I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying: Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men. He will dwell with them and they will be his people! God will be with them, and be their God. 4 God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death. There will be no more sorrow nor crying. There will be no more pain! The former things have passed away.
5 He who sat on the throne said: Behold, I make all things new. Then he told me to write: for these words are faithful and true. 6 And he said to me: It is done! I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him who thirsts from the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He who overcomes will inherit all things. I will be his God, and he will be my son. 8 But the fearful and unbelieving, abominable and murderers, fornicators and those practicing spiritism, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur: which is the second death.
