9 Bible Verses about New Heavens And New Earth

Behold! I WILL CREATE A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

His voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised: I will once more shake not only the earth but also heaven. The words once more plainly show that the created things will be shaken and removed, so that the things that cannot be shaken will remain.

Look for and earnestly desire the coming presence of the Day of Jehovah. (Zephaniah 1:14) The heavens being on fire will be dissolved (destroyed), and the elements will melt with intense heat! We look for new heavens and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. This is according to his promise.

God will wipe away all tears from their eyes. There will be no more death. There will be no more sorrow nor crying. There will be no more pain! The former things have passed away.

Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years. He who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth. The sinner who reaches a hundred will be considered accursed.
