Wickedness and lawlessness will increase. The love of many will grow cold. The person who endures to the end will be saved. The good news of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.

When you see the disgusting abomination of desolation (unclean thing) spoken about through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let him that reads understand), you in Judea flee to the mountains; you on the housetop do not go down to remove the things in your house. You in the field do not return to get your clothes. You who are pregnant or nursing babies in those days will feel trouble. Pray that your flight not be in the winter, neither on a Sabbath. There will be great tribulation. It will be greater than any has ever been from the beginning of the world until now. Unless those days are shortened, no flesh will be saved. For the sake of the chosen ones (selected individuals), those days will be shortened. If someone says, 'Here is the Christ,' or, 'Over there is the Christ,' do not believe it. There will be false Christs and false prophets. They will show great signs and wonders so that many will be misled. This includes some of the chosen ones. Remember, I told you before it happens. If they say, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' or, 'He is in the inner chambers,' do not believe it. Lightning comes from the east and is seen in the west. The coming of the Son of man is like this. The eagles will gather at the place of the carcass. Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give light. The stars will fall from heaven. The powers of the heavens will be shaken. The sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of earth will mourn. They will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He will send his angels with a great trumpet sound. They will gather together the anointed from the four winds, from one end of the sky (horizon) to the other. Learn from the illustration of the fig tree. When the branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. Therefore, when you see all these things, you will know he is near, even at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation (those living at that time) will not pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away. No one knows the day and the hour (the period of time). The angels of heaven do not know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows! The presence of the Son of man will be similar to the days of Noah. It will be like those days before the Flood. They were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. They were not aware until the Flood came and took them all away. The coming (presence) of the Son of man will be like this. Two will be in the field. One will be taken, and one will be left. Two will grind at the mill. One will be taken, and one will be left. Be alert, for you do not know what day the Lord will come. Know this, if the master of the house had known what time the thief was coming, he would have watched and his house would not have been vandalized. Be prepared! When you see the unclean thing that makes desolation standing where he ought not (let the reader use discernment), then let them that are in Judea flee to the mountains. There will arise false Christs and false prophets. They show signs and wonders that will mislead many, even the anointed. Be alert for I have told you all things beforehand. The earth will experience distress of nations in disarray for the roaring of the sea and the waves. Men will faint out of fear for expectation of the things coming on the world. The powers of the heavens shall be shaken. Then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to happen lift up your heads because your redemption draws near. He told them an illustration: Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. When they produce leaves you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see these things coming to pass, know that the kingdom of God is near! Truly I say to you, this generation shall not pass away, till all things are accomplished. Heaven and earth will pass away: but my words will not pass away. Be awake so your hearts are not weighed down. Do not allow the weight of worldly involvement, drunkenness, and cares of this life be a snare when that day suddenly comes. It will come as a surprise to all who dwell on the face of the earth. Be on the watch all the time. Pray for the strength to escape all these things in order to stand before the Son of man.

Yet when it grows it becomes as large as a tree. In fact the birds of heaven lodge in the branches. He offered another illustration: The kingdom of heaven is similar to leaven. A woman hid leaven in three measures of meal until it was all leavened. Jesus spoke with illustrations to the crowds. He did not speak anything without using illustrations. That which was spoken through the prophet was fulfilled, saying: I will open my mouth in illustrations. I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world. Then he left the crowds and went into the house. His disciples gathered near him. They said: Explain to us the illustration of the weeds in the field. Jesus said: He that sows the good seed is the Son of man. The field is the world (the society of mankind). The good seed are the sons of the kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one. The enemy that sowed them is the Devil. The harvest is the end of the age. The reapers are angels. The weeds are gathered up and burned (destroyed) with fire. It will be this way at the end of the age. The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all who stumble others and commit lawlessness. The angels will cast them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. The righteous will shine as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that has ears let him hear. The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. A man found the treasure and hid it again in the field. He is so filled with joy he sells everything he owns and buys the field. The kingdom of heaven is also like a merchant seeking valuable pearls. When he found one pearl of great value, he sold all that he had, and bought it. The kingdom of heaven is like a net cast into the sea. It gathered fish of every kind. They drew it up on the beach when it was full. They gathered the good into containers and threw away the bad. It will be that way at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous. The wicked will be cast into the furnace of fire where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Have you understood all these things? They said to him: Yes. And he said to them: Every scribe (journalist) (writer) who has been made a disciple to the kingdom of heaven is like a man that is a householder, who brings out of his treasure things new and old.

The end of all things is near. Be of sound mind and judgment. Also be sober for the purpose of prayer.
