as it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah, saying, "The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths strait:

And it came to pass as he was just at one of the cities, behold, a man full of leprosy! and seeing Jesus, he fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

and sent messengers before his face; and they advancing entered into a Samaritan village, to make preparation for him.

who devour the houses of widows, and for a pretext make long prayers: these shall receive a more abundant punishment.

Therefore rest satisfied in your hearts, not to premeditate what apology to make:

And he will shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
