and having drawn lots; the lot fell upon Matthias, who was added to the eleven apostles.

The sun will become dark, and the moon turn to blood, before the coming of the great and glorious Day of the Lord.

He bore his testimony to the Kingdom of God, and tried to convince them about Jesus, by arguments drawn from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets--speaking from morning till evening.

For this people's heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest, haply they should perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.
