For he performeth the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.

That's why I'm terrified at his presence! When I think about it, I'm afraid of him.

For insomuch as he is God, he maketh my heart soft: and seeing that he is Almighty, he putteth me in fear.

Yet I am not destroyed by the darkness,
by the thick darkness that covers my face.
