And now babes, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be made ashamed of him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, know also that all that work righteousness, are born of him.

Either, remember ye not, that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I now take the members of Christ, and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid.
For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
Even so, ye my brethren; ye also are made dead as concerning the law by the body of Christ, that ye should be coupled to another - I mean to him that is risen again from death - that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy. For I coupled you to one man, to make you a chaste virgin to Christ:
Let therefore abide in you that same which ye heard at the beginning. If that which ye heard at the beginning shall remain in you, then ye also shall continue in the son, and in the father.

The same came as a witness, to bear witness of the light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that light: but to bear witness of the light. That was a true light, which lighteneth all men that come into the world. He was in the world, and the world by him was made: and yet the world knew him not. But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned, which also were committed unto thee, seeing thou knowest of whom thou hast learned them.
