Thus being desirous of you, we were pleased to impart to you, not only the good-news of God, but also our own souls, because ye have become beloved to us.


We thank God always about all of you, making recollection of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, before our God and Father. Knowing, beloved brothers, your selection by God,

just as ye know, as each one of you as a father of his own children, imploring you, and comforting,







Now at Joppa there was a certain disciple named Tabitha, which, being translated, is called Dorcas. This woman was full of good works and charities that she did.

For I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat. I was thirsty, and ye gave me to drink. I was a stranger, and ye took me in, naked, and ye clothed me. I was feeble, and ye came to help me. I was in prison, and ye came to me.


Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and do not wipe out my good deeds that I have done for the house of my God, and for the observances of it.

a woman came to him having an alabaster cruse of precious ointment, and she poured it upon his head as he sat relaxing. But when his disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, Why this waste?

But Jesus knowing it, he said to them, Why do ye cause troubles to the woman? For she has wrought a good work upon me.










and whatever we may ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do things pleasing in his sight.

And Joash did that which was right in the eyes of LORD all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

Thou shall not eat it, that it may go well with thee, and with thy sons after thee, when thou shall do that which is right in the eyes of LORD.


may he make you fully qualified in every good work in order to do his will, doing in you what is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory into the ages of the ages. Truly.

And thou shall do that which is right and good in the sight of LORD, that it may be well with thee, and that thou may go in and possess the good land which LORD swore to thy fathers,

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
