And the Ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite, three months; and the LORD blessed Obededom and all his household.

And David gathered all Israel together from Shihor in Egypt unto Hamath, to bring the Ark of the Lord from Kiriathjearim. And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, and so to Kiriathjearim that is in Judah, to fetch thence the Ark of the God and LORD that sitteth on the Cherubs, where his name is called on. And they carried the Ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab. And Uzzah and his brother drove the cart. read more.

But the Ark of God had David brought from Kiriathjearim, into the place he had prepared therefore - For he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.

But if he will not have thee, as sure as the LORD liveth I will have thee. Lie still until the morning." And so she lay at his feet until the morning. And she arose up before one could know another. And he said, "Let no man be aware, that there came any woman unto the threshing floor."

Therefore shall they no more enjoy the corn floors and winepresses, and their sweet wine shall fail them.

And David was displeased, because the LORD had rent a rent in Uzzah, and called the said place Perezuzzah unto this day.
