For LORD thy God walks in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee. Therefore thy camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

Thick clouds are a covering to him, so that he does not see, and he walks on the vault of heaven.

Thou walked through the sea with thy horses, the heap of mighty waters.


but the seventh day is a Sabbath to LORD thy God: thou shall not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy man-servant, nor thy maid-servant, nor thine ox, nor thy donkey, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger tha

And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it, because in it he rested from all his work which God had created and made.


It is a sign between me and the sons of Israel forever. For in six days LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

For he spoke somewhere about the seventh this way, And God rested during the seventh day from all his works,

For a man who has entered into his rest, he has also rested from his works, as God did from his own.


But with whom was he angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?


And they put away the foreign gods from among them, and served LORD. And his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

Forty years long I was grieved with [that] generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways.

Therefore I was angry with that generation, and said, They are always led astray in their heart, and they did not know my ways.


LORD will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming.

He who sits in the heavens will laugh. LORD will have them in derision.

But thou, O LORD, will laugh at them. Thou will have all the nations in derision.



And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor. Therefore his own arm brought salvation to him. And his righteousness, it upheld him.

And I looked, and there was none to help. And I wondered that there was none to uphold. Therefore my own arm brought salvation to me. And my wrath, it upheld me.

And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went around the villages teaching.


Put me in remembrance. Let us plead together. Set thou forth [thy case] that thou may be justified.

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses [and] his people, [saying], Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put his holy Spirit in the midst of them,


Awake, why do thou sleep, O LORD? Arise, cast not off forever.

and delivered their strength into captivity, and their glory into the adversary's hand.


LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy grain to be food for thine enemies, and foreigners shall not drink thy new wine, for which thou have labored.








And the bow shall be in the cloud, and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.


Thou will say to me therefore, Why does he still find fault? For who has resisted his purpose?
