And the LORD said unto Noah, "Go into the ark both thou and all thy household. For thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Make thee an ark of pine tree, and make chambers in the ark, and pitch it, within and without, with pitch.

And God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to blow upon the earth, and the waters ceased;

"Come out of the ark, both thou and thy wife and thy sons and thy sons' wives with thee.

For as in the days before the flood: they did eat and drink, marry, and were married, even unto the day that Noah entered in to the ship,

which were in time past disobedient, when the long suffering of God abode exceeding patiently in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few - that is to say eight souls - were saved by water,

And God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to blow upon the earth, and the waters ceased; and the fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain of heaven was forbidden,

And God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to blow upon the earth, and the waters ceased;

And there went forth a wind from the LORD and brought quails from the sea and let them fall about the host, even a day's journey round about on every side of the host, and two cubits high upon the earth.

Then said he unto me, "Thou son of man, prophesy thou toward the wind: prophesy, and speak to the wind, 'Thus sayeth the LORD God: Come, O thou air, from the four winds, and blow upon these slain, that they may be restored to life.'"

But the LORD hurled a great wind in to the sea, so that there was a mighty tempest in the sea: insomuch that the ship was like to go in pieces.

Thou blewest with thy breath and the sea covered them, and they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

"And when ye shall go to war in your land against your enemies that vex you, ye shall trump with the trumpets and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God and saved from your enemies.

Who remembereth us, when we are in trouble! For his mercy endureth forever.

He hath remembered his mercy and truth toward the house of Israel: so that all the ends of the world see the salvation of our God.

Then shall Zion say, "God hath forsaken me, and the LORD hath forgotten me." Doth a wife forget the child of her womb, and the son who she hath born? And though she do forget, yet will not I forget thee. Behold, I have written thee up upon my hands, thy walls are ever in my sight.

But yet when God destroyed the cities of the region, he thought upon Abraham: and sent Lot out from the danger of the overthrowing, when he overthrew the cities where Lot dwelled.

The LORD also shall cleave the tongues of the Egyptian's sea, and with a mighty wind shall he lift up his hand over the Nile, and shall smite his seven streams and make men go over dry shod.
