For there shall be a day of LORD of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up, and it shall be brought low,
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain. Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of LORD comes, for it is near at hand,
For the day is near, even the day of LORD is near. It shall be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.

And the land thereof shall become burning pitch. It shall not be quenched night nor day. The smoke of it shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste. None shall pass through it forever and ever.
Any man who has disregarded the law of Moses dies without mercies from two or three witnesses. By how much worse punishment do ye think he will deserve who has trampled the Son of God, and who considered profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and who treated the Spirit of grace contemptuously?
