When Jesus went into Peter's house, he saw Peter's mother-in-law lying in bed, sick with a fever.

He went up to her, took her by the hand, and helped her up. The fever left her, and she began serving them.

Then Jesus got up to leave the synagogue and went into Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was sick with a high fever, so they asked Jesus about her.


"Sir, my servant is lying at home paralyzed and in terrible pain."

Some people brought him a deaf man who also had a speech impediment. They begged him to lay his hand on him.

When evening came, after the sun had set, people started bringing to him everyone who was sick or possessed by demons. In fact, the whole city gathered at the door. He healed many who were sick with various diseases and drove out many demons. However, he wouldn't allow the demons to speak because they knew who he was.

Then Jesus got up to leave the synagogue and went into Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was sick with a high fever, so they asked Jesus about her. He bent over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began serving them. When the sun was setting, everyone who had any friends suffering from various diseases brought them to him. He placed his hands on each of them and began healing them. read more.
Even demons came out of many people, screaming, "You are the Son of God!" But Jesus rebuked them and ordered them not to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.
