Gold » Refined
I will bring the third part into the fire. I will refine them, as silver is refined, and I will test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say: 'It is my people!' They will say: 'Jehovah is my God!'
He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. He will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will offer to Jehovah offerings in righteousness.
The refining pot is for silver, and the furnace for gold but Jehovah proves the heart.
My fruit is better than gold, yes, better than fine gold. My yield is better than choice silver.
Topaz from Ethiopia cannot equal its value. It cannot be bought for any amount of pure gold.
If I have made gold my trust, or called fine gold my confidence,
The refining pot is for silver. The furnace is for gold. A man is valued by what others say about him.
