My covenant will I not break, nor disannull the thing that is gone out of my lips. I have sworn once by my holiness, that I will not fail David. This say I brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Neither doth corruption inherit uncorruption. Behold, I show a mystery unto you: we shall not all sleep: but we shall all be changed, and that in a moment, and in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet. For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility: and this mortal must put on immortality. When this corruptible hath put on incorruptibility: and this mortal hath put on immortality: then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is consumed into victory." "Death where is thy sting? Hell where is thy victory?" The sting of death is sin: and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be unto God, which hath given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

That we speak of is wisdom among them that are perfect - not the wisdom of this world, neither of the rulers of this world, which goeth to nought - but we speak the wisdom of God, which is in secret and lieth hid, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which wisdom none of the rulers of the world knew. For had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
