This say I brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Neither doth corruption inherit uncorruption. Behold, I show a mystery unto you: we shall not all sleep: but we shall all be changed, and that in a moment, and in the twinkling of an eye, at the sound of the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall blow, and the dead shall rise incorruptible: And we shall be changed. read more.
For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility: and this mortal must put on immortality. When this corruptible hath put on incorruptibility: and this mortal hath put on immortality: then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is consumed into victory." "Death where is thy sting? Hell where is thy victory?" The sting of death is sin: and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be unto God, which hath given us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For this corruptible must put on incorruptibility: and this mortal must put on immortality. When this corruptible hath put on incorruptibility: and this mortal hath put on immortality: then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, "Death is consumed into victory." The secret of the LORD is among them that fear him, and he showeth them his covenant.
That we speak of is wisdom among them that are perfect - not the wisdom of this world, neither of the rulers of this world, which goeth to nought - but we speak the wisdom of God, which is in secret and lieth hid, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which wisdom none of the rulers of the world knew.
