Salvation » What saves
who at one time were disobedient, when the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, the ark being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved through the water. Which antitype baptism does even now save you, not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the seeking after a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
created life in us in Christ, who were dead in trespasses, by grace you have been saved,
Truly the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; if he may have committed sins, they shall be forgiven unto him.
But I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which you indeed received, in which you also stand, by which you are also saved; which word I preached to you, if you hold it fast, otherwise you believed in vain.
For the grace of God, that brings salvation to all men, has appeared,

for the wrath of man works not the righteousness of God. Therefore having laid aside all filthiness and excess of evil, receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
