If I have rejoiced over the misfortune of my enemy or exulted because calamity found him --
Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and when he stumbles do not let your heart rejoice,
If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, for you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the Lord will reward you.

But if you fulfill the royal law as expressed in this scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing well.
You must not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the children of your people, but you must love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
The second is: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
Love does no wrong to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
But we who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak, and not just please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good to build him up.
For the whole law can be summed up in a single commandment, namely, "You must love your neighbor as yourself."
