What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord; in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.
