Cast me not away from thy presence, and take not thy holy Spirit from me.
Though they bring up their sons, yet I will bereave them, so that not a man shall be left. Yea, woe also to them when I depart from them!

And just as they did not approve having God in knowledge, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do things that are not fit;
Cut off thy hair, [O Jerusalem], and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the bare heights. For LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight unless their Rock had sold them, and LORD had delivered them up?
