it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking LORD. And when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised LORD
Moreover the Levites: Jeshua, Binnui, Kadmiel, Sherebiah, Judah, [and] Mattaniah, who was over the thanksgiving, he and his brothers.
LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise him.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let us make a joyful noise to him with psalms.
Thus says LORD: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling-places. And the city shall be built upon its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited after its own manner. And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry. And I will multiply them, and they shall not be few. I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
But I will sacrifice to thee with the voice of thanksgiving. I will pay that which I have vowed. Salvation is of LORD.
Is any man among you afflicted? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praise.
Make a joyful noise to LORD, all the earth. Break forth and sing for joy, yea, sing praises.
And David and all the house of Israel played before LORD with all manner of [instruments of] fir-wood, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with castanets, and with cymbals.
And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, even with songs, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.
And David spoke to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brothers the singers, with instruments of music, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding aloud and lifting up the voice with joy.
And let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with singing.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, LORD has done great things for them.
Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem, for LORD has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem.
For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace. The mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.
Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing to LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea. Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia. Then the chiefs of Edom were dismayed, the mighty men of Moab. Trembling takes hold upon them. All the inhabitants of Canaan are melted away. Terror and dread falls upon them. By the greatness of thine arm they are as still as a stone, till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over whom thou have purchased. Thou will bring them in, and plant them on the mountain of thine inheritance, the place, O LORD, which thou have made for thee to dwell in, the sanctuary, O LORD, which thy hands have established. LORD shall reign forever and ever.
And they sing the song of Moses the bondman of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty, righteous and TRUE are thy ways, thou King of the nations.
Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying, That the leaders took the lead in Israel, that the people offered themselves willingly, bless ye LORD. Hear, O ye kings. Give ear, O ye rulers. I, [even] I, will sing to LORD. I will sing praise to LORD, the God of Israel.

I will call upon LORD, who is worthy to be praised. So I shall be saved from my enemies.

And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in LORD.
O sing to LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things. His right hand, and his holy arm, has wrought salvation for him.
I will sing a new song to thee, O God. Upon a psaltery of ten strings I will sing praises to thee.
