who received the Law through disposition of angels, and did not keep it.
Why then the Law? It was added because of transgressions, until the Seed should come to those to whom it had been promised, being ordained through angels in the Mediator's hand.
For if the word spoken by angels was steadfast, and if every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward,
Then I said, O my lord, what are these? And the angel who talked with me said to me, I will show you what these are.
And Jehovah answered the angel who talked with me with good words, comfortable words. So the angel who talked with me said to me, Cry out, saying, So says Jehovah of Hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.
And I said to the angel who talked with me, What are these? And he answered me, These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
