but yet death reigned from Adam until Moses even over those who sinned not after the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a type of Him Who was to come.

So also it has been written, "The first man Adam was a living soul"; the last Adam, a life-giving Spirit.

And the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual.

The first man is of the earth earthy; the second Man is from Heaven.

But not as the trespass, so also is the free gift; for, if by the trespass of the one, the many died, much more did the grace of God, and the gift by the grace of the One Man, Christ Jesus, abound to the many.

For since through man came death, through Man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive; but each in his own rank; Christ, the First-fruit; then those who are Christ's at His coming.

And not as through one that sinned, so is the gift; for, indeed, the judgment came of one trespass unto condemnation; but the free gift came of many trespasses unto justification.

So, then, as through one trespass, the judgment came to all men unto condemnation; so also, through one righteous act, the free gift came to all men unto justification of life. For as, through the disobedience of the one man, the many were constituted sinners; so also through the obedience of the One, shall the many be constituted righteous.

As was the earthy, such also are the earthy; and as is the Heavenly, such also are the heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the Heavenly.

For our citizenship is in Heaven, whence also we are waiting for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; Who will transform the body of our humiliation into conformity to the body of His glory, according to the working whereby He is able also to subject all things to Himself.
