16 Bible Verses about Afflicted To Death

My days are passing by. My plans are broken. My dreams are shattered.

The danger of death was around me. The grave set its trap for me.

The cords of the grave surrounded me. The snares of death confronted me.

The ropes of death became tangled around me. The fear of the grave took hold of me. I experienced pain and agony.

I am numbered with those who go into the pit. I am like a man without any strength.

We grope like blind men along a wall. We grope like people without eyes. We stumble at noon as if it were evening. We are like dead people among the living.
