if to others I am not an apostle -- yet doubtless to you I am; for the seal of my apostleship are ye in the Lord.

for if, indeed, he who is coming doth preach another Jesus whom we did not preach, or another Spirit ye receive which ye did not receive, or other good news which ye did not accept -- well were ye bearing it, for I reckon that I have been nothing behind the very chiefest apostles,

I have become a fool -- boasting; ye -- ye did compel me; for I ought by you to have been commended, for in nothing was I behind the very chiefest apostles -- even if I am nothing.

Do we begin again to recommend ourselves, except we need, as some, letters of recommendation unto you, or from you? our letter ye are, having been written in our hearts, known and read by all men, manifested that ye are a letter of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God, not in the tablets of stone, but in fleshy tablets of the heart,

The signs, indeed, of the apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds,

and they, having gone forth, did preach everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word, through the signs following. Amen.
