But when they shall deliver you up, be under no anxiety what ye shall say; for it shall be given you in that very hour what ye should speak:
The band therefore, and the chief captain, and the inferior officers of the Jews, seized on Jesus, and bound him,
And when we were come to Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the captain of the guard; but he permitted Paul to have an apartment by himself, with a soldier only who guarded him.
Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisee; and they said to them, Why have ye not brought him? The officers answered, Never did man before speak in such a manner as this man.
But Saul ravaged the church, entering into the houses, and dragging men and women, cast them into prison.

Then the tribune approaching him, laid hold on him, and ordered him to be bound with two chains; and asked who he was, and what he had done.
