let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having had our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience; and having had our bodies washed with pure water,
for I have given to them the words which thou hast given me; and they received them, and knew surely that I came forth from thee, and believed that thou didst send me.
Now faith is assurance of things hoped for, a conviction of things not seen.
and ye have forgotten the exhortation, which reasoneth with you as with sons: "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when reproved by him;
But we earnestly desire that every one of you may show the same diligence with regard to the full assurance of your hope even to the end;
which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast, and which entereth within the veil;
so that we boldly say, "The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear; what shall man do to me?"
For I am persuaded, that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God for us, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
For which cause we are not fainthearted; but though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
nor did he waver in respect to the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; being fully convinced, that what he hath promised, he is able also to perform.
For as to all the promises of God, in him is yea, and in him amen, to the glory of God through us.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel; for to every believer, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, it is the power of God unto salvation.
For they that have served well as deacons, gain for themselves a good standing, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, having this ministry through the mercy we received, we are not fainthearted;
For the love of Christ constraineth us, because we thus judged, that if one died for all, then all died;
because the gospel preached by us came not to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; as ye well know what sort of persons we became among you for your sake.
Wherefore I shall be careful always to remind you of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the truth that is with you.
And this is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us;
Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have confidence toward God; and whatever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.
One man esteemeth one day above another; another esteemeth every day alike: let each one be fully persuaded in his own mind. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it to the Lord;
I know, and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean in itself; but to him that accounteth anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
But take heed, lest this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to the weak. For if any one see thee, who hast knowledge, at table in an idols temple, will not the conscience of him that is weak be emboldened to eat the things offered to idols?
